Alan Luk leads the GRC team at Grammarly, where he manages organization-wide policies and procedures, the enterprise risk management program, and audit certifications such as SOC 2 (Type 2), ISO 27k, PCI DSS, and HIPAA. He focuses on ensuring Grammarly’s security, privacy, and compliance posture are held to a high bar that gives enterprises assurance their users’ data is secure and protected. Drawing on his background in compliance at Microsoft and PricewaterhouseCoopers, he helps build programs and best practices for the Trust team at Grammarly to scale and stay on top of emerging requirements.

Scout Moran is Senior Product and Privacy Counsel at Grammarly, where she drives innovation and navigates the legal complexities of a constantly evolving and competitive digital environment. Drawing on her experience working with startup and venture capital clients at Gunderson Dettmer, Scout takes a strategic and collaborative approach to problem-solving and risk mitigation. Scout is responsible for ensuring compliance (including with data privacy laws) across all stages of the product development cycle, from ideation to launch.
